Senator Catherine S. Blakespear and the Contractors State License Board invite you to attend a FREE Senior Scam Stopper℠ seminar on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Country Club Senior Center, 455 Country Club Ln, Oceanside, CA.With scams targeting older adults on the rise, knowledge is your best defense. This seminar is designed for seniors, their families, and caregivers, offering practical tips and resources to help you recognize, prevent, and report fraud. The program, presented in partnership with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), will feature panelists from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and the California Department of Insurance (CDI). Light refreshments will be provided.
