About the event
The National Union of Healthcare Workers, will be hosting the first public Governor Candidate Forum on Sunday, September 28, at 10am PDT.
The forum will be streamed live on Youtube, and these seven Democratic candidates will be taking the stage: Former president pro tempore of the California State Senate Toni G. Atkins, former U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services Xavier Becerra, businessman Stephen Cloobeck, former Rep. Katie Porter, Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and former State Controller Betty Yee.
